About the Role
United Infrastructure is seeking experienced Supervisors to join their teams for Social Housing Repairs in London's North Counties. This role involves overseeing job direction from start to finish, ensuring client specifications are met, managing costs, and maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the direction of all jobs from commencement to completion.
- Ensure client specifications and requirements are met.
- Review progress and liaise with Commercial Support to ensure all costs are captured.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely.
- Attend Validation Inspections to scope works based on client specifications.
- Ensure daily review of Total Mobile Dashboard to manage job workflow.
- Respond to client questions and queries in a timely manner.
- Ensure all job notes are accurately recorded on Total Mobile.
- Liaise with Admin and Commercial staff, the client, and residents or the public.
- Report to the Project Manager regarding WIP and completions.
- Coordinate and supervise the supply chain for timely start and completion dates.
- Ensure supply chain updates are reflected on Total Mobile.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety.
- Create a Health and Safety File for each job, reviewing and amending documentation prior to job commencement.
- Attend Post Inspections for every job to ensure snags are completed and quality standards are met.
- Check job specifications, designs, and drawings for on-site compliance.
- Anticipate problems and implement preventative measures.
- Assess and minimize risk by ensuring H&S policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
- Maintain Quality Control of the supply chain.
- Attend occasional Client meetings at the Project Manager's request.
Requirements
- Experience within a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience of the Cyclical Workstream.
- Strong experience in a fast-moving environment delivering a high-quality and robust delivery service.
- Experience of working with a supply chain delivery model.
- Able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
- Experience of site health and safety good practice.
- Experience of working within a customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of working within financial regulations, data protection, freedom of information, and waste management.
- Proficient in the use of Total Mobile and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of equality issues.
- Able to read and understand instructions, technical reports, and designs.
- Able to follow company procedures.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, dealing with emergencies and difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Well-organized and able to prioritize own workload.
- Able to develop and present written information clearly and concisely.
