About the Role

This role offers a comprehensive internship experience within an independent music company, covering label operations, publishing, and artist management. You will gain hands-on experience from creative session planning to administrative tasks like royalty reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in daily operations and assist with planning and executing releases, including asset management and partner communication.
• Assist in managing songwriters and producers, coordinating songwriting sessions, and proactively requesting new demos.
• Conduct regular screenings of charts and playlists to identify undiscovered tracks and remix opportunities, keeping an eye on emerging artists and producers.
• Maintain pitch lists and Dropbox structures, verify song credits on streaming platforms, and update internal song archives.
• Handle royalty reporting for released songs, upload audio files, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Manage social media accounts, from concept development and content creation to active community engagement.
• Assist with general office tasks to ensure smooth team operations.

Requirements

• Demonstrate passion for music, proactive work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Possess a strong sense for hits and trends, with a focus on Dance, Pop, and German Rap.
• Be proficient with social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, understanding how to generate engagement.
• Exhibit a hands-on mentality, taking initiative and responsibility while managing multiple tasks.
• Communicate effectively and confidently with artists and business partners in both German and English.
• Work independently, proactively, and conscientiously, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
• Be available for 3-6 months, ideally as part of a mandatory internship.
