About the Role
As a Labourer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by assisting in the dismantling and recycling process of vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles and enjoy hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle and depollute vehicles safely using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare vehicles for resale and/or display in the yard
- Dismount wheels, rims and tires
- Clean, test, and sort batteries for resale
- Sort and organize salvaged parts for inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized yard and work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a general labour or similar role
- Physical stamina and ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Reliable and willing to learn different areas of the business
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
