About the Role

The Media and PR Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the media and communications team in various tasks related to public relations, media, and communications. This position involves assisting in operational media-related duties and press coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute press materials, media updates, and communication assets.
  • Coordinate product shipments, press loans, and returns with markets, agencies, and logistics teams.
  • Support the organization and preparation of photoshoots, press events, and PR activations.
  • Assist with media monitoring and compile press reviews and competitive benchmarking.
  • Maintain press contact lists and reporting documents.
  • Liaise with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams for project follow-up.
  • Manage invoices, purchase orders, and budget tracking for PR activities.
  • Maintain lookbook, reporting tools, and image assets.
  • Support talent and influencer activations across global markets.
  • Assist in the preparation of pre and post-activation reports.
  • Support the execution of product gifting projects.
  • Support the Media Manager in coordinating and executing media campaigns.
  • Coordinate with media agencies and partners on campaign deliveries and timelines.
  • Support campaign trafficking, asset management, and material distribution.
  • Assist with establishing KPIs and benchmarks, performance tracking, and competitive analysis.
  • Help manage PO and invoicing processes, budget follow-up, and administrative processes for media activities.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between HQ, markets, agencies, and partners during campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor and optimize channel and campaign performance.
  • Liaise with global media partners to maintain strong working relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Support the communication and promotion of media best practices, technical specifications, and industry standards.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities/content, and audience preferences.
  • Assist with coordinating multi-agency media campaign reporting and platform brand lift studies.
  • Update department invoice tracker spreadsheet for UK/FR media.
  • Own and maintain PR monitoring systems, acting as the main point of contact for reporting and analytics.
  • Update and maintain the global PR calendar and inform relevant teams of Comms & PR activities.
  • Take accountability for delivering high-quality work that supports brand and business priorities.
  • Communicate clearly, ensuring alignment across functions.
  • Work collaboratively across Marketing and with external partners to support seamless execution.
  • Build strong relationships to ensure success in the role.
  • Be open to new ways of thinking and be creative in thoughts or ideas.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete background screening which may include a criminal check and validation of qualifications.
