  • Partner with the Product team to provide expertise on measurement methodology, particularly for attribution and low-funnel measurement.
  • Build compelling, multi-source advertising research stories to educate sellers, marketers, and clients on Spotify’s value proposition.
  • Extract insights from large datasets (1st party and custom research) to provide hypotheses and answer sales, marketing, and business development questions.

  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on media performance trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to Spotify’s point of view on research and measurement solutions, educating Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Present measurement insights at client, agency, and industry events.
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify and outline top-performing campaign tactics for publication as success stories.
  • Collaborate with leadership stakeholders on Sales and/or Marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising research at a research vendor, media owner, advertiser, or agency partner.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to lead and contribute to external client meetings.
  • Proven experience partnering with global advertisers and driving measurement strategy in a specific expertise area.
  • Operate transparently with stakeholders and peers, and be approachable regarding challenging discussions.
  • Strong background in quantitative ad effectiveness research, particularly using conversion-lift solutions and other low-funnel measurement products.
  • Experience with scaling signal-based solutions such as conversions API.
  • Familiarity with interpreting results and recommending measurement solutions including app installs/in-app activity, multi-touch attribution, conversions APIs, clean rooms, and more.
  • High level of experience running multiple forms of advertising measurement (brand lift to conversion lift) across various buying channels, including Programmatic.
  • Extremely strong knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem, measurement capability landscape, and technical aspects.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis and storytelling, explaining the 'why' behind research results.
  • Self-starter who digs into projects without needing much direction.
