About the Role

Piedmont Plastics is seeking an ADC Warehouse Associate for their Scarborough, Ontario location. This role involves managing sales orders, receiving and processing inventory, and ensuring timely shipment of materials.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews ADC sales orders and schedules them for picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensures orders are processed in the proper sequence to meet branch or customer expectations.
  • Physically receives ADC inventory, verifies packing slips, and matches them to purchase orders.
  • Weighs, measures, and counts materials to ensure conformance to quality standards.
  • Enters received inventory into the computer system, scans documents, and files them.
  • Transports receiving documents to branch administration.
  • Transfers materials from receiving to ADC storage racks or other designated areas.
  • Pulls material from ADC inventory and packages it on pallets for shipment.
  • May use a computer or bar code scanner to enter records, track material, and control inventory.
  • Maintains required quality documentation, such as certificates of conformance.
  • Responsible for general warehouse housekeeping within the ADC area and maintaining safe work habits.
  • Drives a forklift to transport material.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum of one year experience driving a forklift.
  • Ability to lift up to a maximum of 100 pounds.
  • A stable work history of at least 9 months.
  • Experience using a computer.
  • A positive attitude and are a team player.
