About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will provide Partner-led service and passion for food, ensuring customers have a positive experience with the Waitrose brand. Your efforts will contribute to customer loyalty and retention. Any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour. This role is for Waitrose Brent Cross only. Applicants must be 18 years or older due to Working Time Regulations.

Responsibilities

Stock replenishment, ensuring shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns.
Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.

Requirements

Must be able to work in the specified location (Waitrose Brent Cross).
Must be able to work the advertised hours.
Must be 18 years or older.
Communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
Experience of working in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
Flexible approach to support the whole branch.
Pre-employment vetting may be required, including potential DBS checks and financial probity checks.
