About the Role
As a Senior Facility Manager (m/w/d), you will assume strategic and operational responsibility for integrated workplace and facility management across multiple office locations in Germany. You will report directly to the Regional Lead and serve as the central point of contact for all facility-related matters. In this key role, you will manage a cross-site team of 10 employees, drive operational excellence, and shape a first-class working environment, focusing on ensuring the highest standards in safety, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for 10 employees in the workplace and facility sector across multiple locations.
- Manage strategic personnel planning, including resource allocation, vacation planning, and succession management.
- Foster team development through coaching, performance management, and targeted training.
- Build and maintain a high-performing, customer-oriented team culture.
- Oversee the management of all facility services: maintenance, upkeep, cleaning, janitorial services, and consumables management.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and compliance checks.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance work, repairs, and workplace projects.
- Ensure service quality through defined KPIs and continuous optimization processes.
- Manage office transformation projects, space optimization, and workplace strategies.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, landlords, and service providers.
- Perform professional contract management and vendor controlling through regular performance reviews.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Security, HR, and Corporate Real Estate.
- Organize and execute company events and executive services.
- Shape an outstanding workplace experience across all locations.
- Manage reception services, guest support, meeting services, and catering.
- Oversee budget for workplace amenities and cost control.
- Develop target-group-specific communication concepts for office communities.
- Create meaningful management reports, KPI dashboards, and business reviews.
- Provide transparent information on workplace initiatives, projects, and operational changes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations (occupational safety, work safety, environmental protection).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary measures.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or comparable qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Facility Management, Workplace Services, or Corporate Real Estate.
- Demonstrable success in managing cross-site teams and multi-site operations.
- In-depth knowledge of integrated facility management, vendor management, and HSE compliance.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.
