About the Role
The Administrative Support Coordinator in Flight Operations is a dynamic role responsible for maintaining operational efficiency through organization, communication, and problem-solving. This position requires an active approach to supporting floor operations while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain aircraft library for accuracy and compliance
- Control distribution of company publications
- Perform logistical tasks including tracking, control, and coordination of aircraft-related operations
- Resolve and respond to internal and external customer inquiries
- Liaise with internal and external customers and support departmental staff
- Coordinate aircraft maintenance arrivals and manual recovery
- Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
- Administer and comply with company policies, government regulations, and collective agreements
- Maintain a flexible approach to support team and operational needs
- Respond to operational issues and changing priorities
- Work in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency
Requirements
- High School graduation
- Minimum 2 years of office experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet Transport Canada security requirements
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
- Ability to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP)
- Eligible to work in Canada
