About the Role
Join Bethesda, a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to “Serving others together in faith, community, and life.” As a Neighborhood Assistant, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting residents’ daily lives—helping them feel valued, comfortable, and connected in a brand-new, welcoming community.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mealtime service and cleanup
- Help residents move safely throughout the community
- Support light housekeeping tasks such as tidying rooms and making beds
- Engage residents in fun and meaningful activities
- Lead or assist with group and one-on-one programs like exercise and wellness activities, devotionals and spiritual engagement, crafts, games, and social gatherings, music and pet therapy experiences
Requirements
