About the Role
The Product Manager is responsible for the positioning, packaging, and promotion of assigned asset classes and strategies. This role involves product development, rollout, messaging, performance analysis, and serving as the internal subject matter expert to support distribution teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Champion assigned strategies, funds, and themes across distribution channels
- Act as the internal subject matter expert and primary point of contact for assigned strategies
- Analyze product performance via attribution analysis and draft portfolio commentaries
- Monitor competitive landscape, industry trends, and capital market events
- Develop and maintain product materials including pitch books, RFPs, and database content
- Identify and implement necessary product changes
- Disseminate product information to sales teams to drive sales and asset retention
- Identify new strategy and fund opportunities
- Develop documentation for new product ideas and manage launch plans
- Provide project management support throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the asset management industry in an investment specialist, product, or investment role
- Excellent knowledge of the asset management business and investment products
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational, project-driven, and deadline-oriented skills
- Willingness to acquire Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses
