About the Role

In Japan, Otis Elevator Co. is seeking an Inspector to perform regular statutory inspections of elevators and escalators, crucial infrastructure supporting urban life. This role involves communicating with customers and potentially mentoring service engineers through technical guidance during inspections.

Responsibilities

Perform regular statutory inspections of elevators and escalators according to customer schedules.
Conduct inspections in a two-person team, typically taking about 120 minutes per unit.
Perform approximately 3-4 inspections per day, depending on the assigned area.
Provide technical guidance to service engineers through inspections.
Communicate effectively with customers during the inspection process.

Requirements

Must possess a "昇降機等検査員" (Elevator/Escalator Inspector) qualification.
Must possess a regular driver's license.
Skills in electricity and electrical engineering are preferred.
Must prioritize safety and aim for professionalism.
Must value communication with others.
Must be curious and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be comfortable using digital tools.

¥224,000 - ¥400,000 per month
Incentive allowance available
