About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer for Test Systems (m/f/x) specializing in radio communication systems to join our expert team at a client in the radio and communication industry. You will work with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conception, development, and enhancement of automated test systems for airborne radio communication systems.
• Setup and integration of a superordinate end-to-end test system for complex overall systems in directed radio communication using AESA technology.
• Development and implementation of test pipelines (CI/CD) for continuous verification.
• Creation and maintenance of test interfaces (APIs, protocols) to the system under test.
• Automated collection, evaluation, and visualization of measurement and test results.
• Ensuring requirements coverage through structured test concepts and traceability.
• Preparation and securing of demonstration flights through comprehensive system tests.
• Integration and operation of test environments and test servers (e.g., Jenkins).
• Use and maintenance of test management and requirements tools (e.g., X-Ray, Jama).
• Close collaboration with development, system engineering, and integration teams.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in developing software for test automation.
• Sound experience in the design and setup of test pipelines (CI/CD).
• Very good knowledge of GitLab (CI/CD, repository management).
• Experience with test management tools like X-Ray and requirements tools like Jama.
• Experience in setting up and operating test servers (e.g., Jenkins).
• Experience in integrating hardware and software tests, ideally in the RF environment.
• Knowledge in the analysis, evaluation, and visualization of test results.
• Experience with interface development (e.g., REST, TCP/IP, serial communication).
