About the Role

As an Oracle Data Centre Technician, you will serve as the technical liaison between technology teams and the Data Centre Environment. You will troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, escalating only the most complex problems. You will create and maintain documentation, understand all aspects of supported equipment, and drive process improvements with automation for simplification.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues
  • Escalate complex infrastructure issues to appropriate resolver groups
  • Create and maintain documentation on supported technologies
  • Understand all aspects of supported equipment
  • Innovate and make decisions independently
  • Take direction and pay attention to details
  • Improve current processes
  • Introduce automation with an aim towards simplification

Requirements

  • Experienced Data Centre Technician
  • Background in racking & stacking to deployment & decommissioning

Skills

  • Skilled troubleshooter across a wide range of Data Centre environments and systems
