About the Role
Reporting to the Manager on Duty or On-Site Donation Captain, you will be responsible for accepting donations on behalf of not-for-profit partners. You will express gratitude to donors, explain the impact of their donation, and educate them on the work of our not-for-profit partners.
Responsibilities
- Greeting donors and thanking them for their donation
- Handling all donations with care and respect
- Educating donors and customers on the work of our not-for-profit partners
- Embracing our purpose to Champion Reuse
- Sharing the Savers story
- Working with your team to meet daily production targets
- Supporting our safety culture
Requirements
- Availability for part-time hours – Monday to Sunday between 8am - 9pm
- A team player who enjoys helping others meet team goals
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment (e.g., retail, production, warehousing, or hospitality)
- Ability to celebrate uniqueness and contribute from diverse backgrounds
- Driven to make an impact on your team and community
- Passionate about providing an exceptional customer and donor experience
- Eager to learn, adapt, and improve
- Passionate about standing up for what’s right and doing what you say you will
- Further processes such as police checks may form part of the application process
