About the Role
The Senior Associate, Product Development & Management will support the design, delivery, and management of client-centric funds, partnerships, and solutions aligned with IFM’s commercial strategy. This role involves meeting the complex and evolving investment needs of APAC clients and ensuring product activity aligns with market conditions, regulatory standards, and IFM's operating model. You will lead and drive the design and delivery of product initiatives, ensuring they meet client needs, comply with regulations, mitigate risks, and align with corporate strategy. You will use your expertise to influence stakeholders, solve problems, and drive change across the APAC and broader global product operating model by building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the design and delivery of product initiatives within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Ensure product initiatives meet client needs, comply with regulations, mitigate operational and legal risks, and align with corporate strategy.
- Influence stakeholders, solve problems, and drive change across the APAC and broader global product operating model.
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and teams to overcome barriers and deliver successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, law or wealth management.
- Demonstrable experience in private assets and private markets across Australia and the broader global fund management industry and financial centres.
- Understanding of the principles relating to the delivery of administrative services, e.g. confidentiality, protocols etc.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
