About the Role
Embedded software engineering role focused on streaming software, media player debugging, and embedded Linux environments. This position involves troubleshooting complex streaming issues, analyzing logs, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance media playback performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform embedded/streaming software engineering using AAMP/RDK, C++, and GStreamer.
- Debug media players, including log analysis, pipeline state tracing, and DRM/CDN issue investigation.
- Diagnose streaming issues from run logs, covering network latency, pipeline state failures, buffer underflows, and CDN/DRM timeouts.
- Write unit tests using Google Test/Mock.
- Contribute to CI pipelines and support overall software quality improvements.
- Work within an embedded Linux environment and support streaming/media playback functionality.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in embedded/streaming software engineering.
- Strong exposure to C++, GStreamer, AAMP/RDK, or similar media player technologies.
