About the Role
As a Senior Sales Draftsperson, you will play a central role in ensuring smooth workflows, accurate documentation, and strong team performance. This senior role offers the opportunity to lead, mentor, and elevate drafting standards while being hands-on in delivering accurate drawings.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate CAD drawings that reflect customer requirements and comply with all relevant regulations and standards
- Prepare detailed draft sales plans, including variations, surveys, levels, and site-specific calculations
- Develop compliant siting plans aligned with client briefs, SEPP guidelines, and council requirements
- Support daily drafting operations, ensuring delivery targets and turnaround times are met
- Assist in allocating workload across the drafting team to optimise productivity and efficiency
- Interpret tender, council, and authority documentation to inform accurate and compliant design outcomes
- Provide training and guidance to drafting staff on systems, processes, and best practices
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve design or site challenges with practical, cost-effective solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential drafting with strong expertise in CAD – Ideally ArchiCAD
- Sound knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, SEPP requirements and local council regulations
- Demonstrated ability to interpret tender, survey and authority documentation accurately
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Solutions-focused mindset with the ability to resolve design and site constraints
- Occasional weekend work is required
