As our People Partner, you will own Brighte's People practice as a hands-on individual contributor, delivering across employee relations, hiring, performance, and remuneration. This senior practitioner role requires you to lead, advise, and execute, leveraging AI tooling for efficiency and impact. You will be the go-to person for leaders facing complex challenges, bringing clear thinking and a steady hand to difficult situations while maintaining a fast pace and a curiosity for continuous improvement.

  • Bring clear recommendations on matters that carry real weight.
  • Handle complex and sensitive employee relations cases with empathy and pragmatism.
  • Work towards outcomes that stand on genuine, defensible footing and stay rooted in our values.
  • Lead grievances and investigations, with external legal support on high-risk matters.
  • Own hiring from brief to offer, including interviewing.
  • Use AI tools to take out the legwork, keeping your focus on judgment, candidate experience and getting the right people in.
  • Assess AI capability in every hire.
  • Support and drive a high-performance culture that lifts organisational productivity.
  • Lead performance calibration across the business.
  • Run the annual remuneration review, linking reward to contribution and holding the team to our Raise the Bar standard.
  • Shape how Brighte is structured and how roles are built.
  • Plan for the workforce needed as the business evolves, keeping the org a step ahead with the right shape and the right roles.
  • Guide Brighte through change and make it land.
  • Bring a clear, steady plan that takes people with you and keeps the business moving, whether that is new ways of working or a new leader joining.

Requirements

  • Exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Sound judgment that balances empathy and pragmatism.
  • An AI mindset, actively using AI tooling to perform work.
  • Pace and a strong appetite for learning; move quickly and pick things up fast.
  • Stay curious as the work changes.
  • Strong collaboration skills; build trust easily and work well across the business.
  • 8+ years of experience.

  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, ideally fintech or startup.
  • Commercial nous and confidence to lead a lean practice as an individual contributor.
