Responsibilities
- Communicate with 3PL customers and agree on customer-specific solutions.
- Arrange for transport of cargo and agree on rates where no tariffs exist, maximizing cost-effectiveness and ensuring accounting deadlines are met.
- Provide contingency backup solutions in support of Japan freight and 3PL business.
- Manage traffic control, consolidations, and costs for all freight.
- Manage carrier and 3PL performance on a daily and weekly basis.
- Ensure all shipping and freight documentation is 100% accurate.
- Manage proof of delivery in support of customer service requirements.
- Communicate with carriers and customer service for all spot rate requirements.
- Summarize and interpret reports for internal and external purposes.
- Collaborate closely with the 3PL warehouse and monitor scheduled suppliers.
- Manage internal and external queries.
- Perform and implement general administration, invoicing sign-off, filing, and query resolution.
- Process claims and check costs in accordance with departmental requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in inbound and outbound logistics, particularly with healthcare products.
- Experience in freight administration/coordination.
- Demonstrates integrity in business relations and business acumen.
- Ability to work as part of a busy team and on your own initiative.
- Ability to work as part of international teams.

Education Level
- Degree/Diploma in (International) Business Management, Logistics or an equivalent/comparable education.
