About the Role
Primer is building a single operating system for K-12 schools called PrimerOS, covering real estate, teacher experience, parent experience, academics, and operations. We are seeking exceptional, multidisciplinary engineers to redesign the school experience using modern technology and ship features for teachers, students, families, and state teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, Prisma, Postgres, Next, React, and Relay.
- Collaborate daily with engineering, product, design, academic program, and executive teams.
- Take ownership of projects and lead initiatives that shape the entire product.
- Contribute to setting the foundation for our engineering culture.
- Build high-quality products and deliver excellence.
Requirements
- Possess an unbridled passion for fixing the US education system.
- Thrive in the unknowns of an early-stage environment and enjoy figuring out what needs to happen.
- Have a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and their application.
- Take pride in your craft and value attention to detail.
- Have experience owning a feature or product from conception to production with active users.
