About the Role

As a Senior AI Compiler Engineer on the Research Team, you will build a complete MLIR-based compiler stack from the ground up. This stack will be purpose-built to run massive AI models on bare-metal 5G/6G telecommunications silicon, optimizing for environments with limited memory and no operating system.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement custom MLIR dialects from scratch, including TableGen definitions, transformation passes, and dialect conversion infrastructure.
  • Lower high-level computational graphs from JAX and StableHLO into hardware-specific IR without mathematical fidelity loss.
  • Build static scheduling and tiling passes to precisely manage data movement between HBM and on-chip local memory.
  • Maintain a high-performance, modular, LLVM-based compiler codebase.
  • Ensure correctness and determinism in production compiler engineering.

Requirements

  • MLIR mastery, including custom passes, dialect conversions, TableGen definitions, and navigating the MLIR framework in a production context.
  • Deep, hands-on C++ and LLVM expertise, including IR structure, pass pipelines, and code generation.
  • Experience exporting and lowering real models from JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Expertise in StableHLO or XLA at the op-semantics level.
