About the Role

Our Band 1 ranked Competition, Regulation and Trade practice is expanding, and we have an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Sydney office. Our team is widely recognised by peers and legal directories as one of the leading teams in the field. We advise many of Australia's and the world's leading organisations, across the full spectrum of competition, consumer law and regulatory work, including cartel and behavioural investigations, litigation, merger clearances, and regulatory advice.

Responsibilities

Develop expertise with the new merger control regime.
Develop junior Solicitors.
Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support the ongoing growth of the practice.
Engage with technology and digitalisation in the delivery of legal services with an open mind and curiosity.

Requirements

Experience as a Senior Associate in a leading private practice firm or relevant regulator experience in Australia.
In-depth experience with competition and consumer law matters.
An excellent academic record.
Natural commitment to continuous learning.
Strong communication skills.
An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
A curiosity about our client's businesses.
An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
