About the Role
Shape UX at European scale by guiding and supporting partner banks in integrating Wero into their existing banking apps, ensuring a balance between the design vision and member design systems for consistent, intuitive, and compliant user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate UX certification for member banks, maintaining an up-to-date view of UX status and keeping stakeholders aligned.
- Review and challenge member designs against Wero standards, identifying gaps and providing actionable feedback.
- Drive follow-up and resolution of UX gaps, ensuring agreed improvements are implemented.
- Contribute to guidelines, best-practice examples, and other materials to make standards easy to understand.
- Feed real-world insights back into the product, proposing improvements to documentation, patterns, and standards.
- Translate UX and technical constraints into accessible communication for non-design stakeholders.
- Organize or relay user research and convert insights into concrete recommendations for member UX improvements.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional EU language is a plus.
- Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience collaborating with external partners or clients.
- Ability to handle misalignments diplomatically while protecting the UX vision.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles (UX and UI).
- Ability to read and challenge user flows, wireframes, and UI designs.
- Structured approach to tracking many parallel workstreams.
- Comfortable managing status overviews, follow-up actions, and deadlines.
- Experience in payments, financial services or fintech, or with member banks is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, Slack.
- Previous experience in program management, account management, or design operations in addition to design is a plus.
