About the Role
Laird Norton Wetherby (LNW) is seeking a Wealth Manager to deliver bespoke and holistic wealth management services to ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role offers professional development opportunities and allows for flexible client relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Foster trusted, long-term client relationships.
- Incorporate LNW’s values in all work.
- Assess client needs and marshal firm resources to address them.
- Model and foster a team culture of client service.
- Explain approved investment solutions across all asset classes.
- Design and guide the implementation of managed investment portfolios.
- Communicate proactively with clients and articulate plans clearly.
- Drive the development, communication, and implementation of wealth management and financial planning strategies.
- Lead financial planning analysis and projections (estate planning, tax, Medicare, Social Security, insurance).
- Lead client meetings, providing strategic oversight.
- Supervise and ensure the quality of ongoing client service.
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients and execute roadmap planning.
- Demonstrate a business development mindset through referral networks and company engagement.
Requirements
- Preferred 10+ years of industry experience in investment management, wealth management, or financial planning, serving clients with AUM > $10M.
- Specialized skills in investments & investment management, estate planning, tax, philanthropy, and family governance are highly valued.
- Certification (Series 65 or other) required.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in financial services.
- Interest in supporting an inclusive, client-centric work environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage and delegate projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong listening abilities.
- Must meet all employment qualifications at time of hiring, including background checks, execution of employee agreements, and ability to perform essential job functions.

Salary/Compensations
- $160,000 - $255,000
- Meaningful annual bonus based on individual and company performance
