About the Role
Join the Health and Safety team and become a driving force in shaping rail safety at Sydney Metro. As a Senior Rail Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and embedding tailored safety practices across Sydney Metro's exceptional project portfolio. You will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to ensure the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of robust safety management systems. Your influence will be critical in driving compliance with all relevant rail safety requirements and fostering a proactive safety culture across our projects.
Responsibilities
- Establish and embed tailored safety practices across Sydney Metro's project portfolio.
- Provide strategic leadership and technical expertise for safety management systems.
- Ensure the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety management systems.
- Drive compliance with rail safety requirements.
- Foster a proactive safety culture across projects.
- Provide strategic direction and apply technical expertise to develop, implement, and continuously improve Sydney Metro's rail safety management system.

- Have extensive experience in the rail industry or related rail infrastructure construction, ideally within NSW.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
