About the Role
Join our Tech Ops experts to help keep our fleet in tip-top shape. You will work on our planes and ensure they are well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations.
Responsibilities
- Performs storekeeper's work in storeroom areas, including receiving, issuing, provisioning, checking, classifying, inventorying, and storing supplies, equipment, parts, and materials.
- Opens, packages, and seals boxes and crates.
- Performs duties that may involve working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, with exposure to noise, fumes, and machinery.
- Climbs and works from ladders, bends and stoops in confined areas, and stands or walks for extended periods.
- Performs heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling during the loading and unloading of trucks, carts, and conveyors.
- Fuels assigned vehicles.
- Transports parts and materials between locations, sorts and counts items, and prepares labels and ticketing documents.
- Reads and interprets documents to build kits for aircraft change orders, first aid, in-flight, and charter services.
- Maintains an orderly and safe work area and familiarity with operating procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Operates equipment with manual and automatic transmissions, including forklifts, trucks, tractors, tugs, and electric carts.
- Works with hand tools such as remote computer terminal sets, bag sealers, saws, mobile radios, shears, knives, and staplers.
- Handles hazardous materials, flammable materials, and/or hazardous waste.
- Converts units of weights and measurements.
- Uses a computer to track inventory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic ability to convert units of weights and measurements.
- Possesses a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Flexible and willing to work any shift in a 24-hour/7-day a week operation, including early mornings, afternoons, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of required testing and interviews.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
