About the Role

The Delivery Consultant turns a solution vision into systems that achieve outcomes by building interfaces, automations, data models, and integrations. You will run customer sessions to bridge the gap between designed and actual work, using judgment to evolve designs and build trust. This role requires technical skill, clear communication of trade-offs, and the ability to guide customers toward effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Run recurring customer sessions with operators and builders to understand ground-level realities that influence system development.
  • Build interfaces, field agents, automations, data models, and integrations to translate solution visions into functional systems.
  • Address design issues identified through user feedback by providing solutions, not just flagging problems.
  • Build efficiently using AI, dedicating saved time to customer engagement, as customer-facing time is actively measured and valued.
  • Perform quality assurance on own work, focusing on user behavior and automation functionality.
  • Create reusable build patterns to enhance impact beyond individual engagements.
  • Achieve full Airtable platform proficiency within 90 days, with baseline expectations for advanced work in interfaces, automations, data modeling, and integrations.

Requirements

  • AI is embedded in your building process across all delivery phases: design, build, test, and documentation.
  • You can specify tasks offloaded to AI, the time saved, and where your judgment is irreplaceable.
  • 3–5 years in a client-facing delivery or implementation role with direct accountability for system functionality.
  • Hands-on technical depth in building complex systems with forms, automations, integrations, and data models, understanding tradeoffs at each layer.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-level sponsors, technical stakeholders, and business SMEs.
  • Skill in understanding underlying customer needs beyond explicit requests, surfacing real constraints, and redirecting customers toward effective solutions.
  • Capacity to differentiate between design and change management problems and address both.
  • Hold yourself accountable for outcomes, not just delivery.
  • Proven ability to master a complex platform quickly and apply that skill within 90 days.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to drive outcomes and ensure cross-functional alignment.
