About the Role
This role supports Twitch's Trust & Safety team, focusing on maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for communities by mitigating online harms. Trust & Safety Analysts are crucial for fostering a thriving and creative Twitch.
Responsibilities
- Assess and act on user reports of Twitch policy violations.
- Prioritize swift action on sensitive community issues, including child safety, terrorism, violent extremism, and off-service behaviors.
- Review and respond to internal and external escalations.
- Participate in shift rotation, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain expert understanding of Twitch policies, site features, and internal documentation.
- Contribute insights and skills to the Trust & Safety team to support Twitch's global community.
- Identify areas for improvement using a data-driven approach to understand and mitigate risk.
- Leverage AI tooling and programs like SQL to build efficiencies and streamline workflows.
- Lead projects to improve operating models, conduct effective investigations, and understand the evolving risk landscape.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, Investigations, Fraud Prevention, Content Moderation, Escalations, Crisis Management, or a related field.
- Experience investigating complex user, content, or platform safety issues and making risk-based decisions.
- Familiarity with SQL, data analysis tools, or AI-assisted workflows for trend identification, risk investigation, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and technologies for proactive risk detection and investigations.
- Experience working with cross-functional partners, including Policy, Legal, and Engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Twitch as a creator.
- Previous employment at a games industry or live streaming platform company.
