About the Role

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient experiences with warmth, professionalism, and empathy.
Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and care.
Assist dentists during various dental procedures.
Capture digital scans using the iTero Scanner.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
Sterilize and organize instruments, maintaining strict infection control standards.
Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized clinical environment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Support scheduling, charting, and patient record management.
Process administrative tasks, including insurance claims and billing, as needed.
Respond confidently during dental emergencies and provide basic life support when required.
Stay current with new dental technologies and clinical procedures through continuing education.

Requirements

Certified Dental Assistant (Level II) designation.
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
Experience using an iTero Scanner.
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail.
Commitment to patient confidentiality.
Experience with dental software and digital workflows (considered an asset).
