About the Role
As a Demi Chef in the Cold Section at Big Mamma, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality antipasti, insalate, and cold preparations, ensuring consistency, precision, and great presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate cold section dishes, including antipasti and salads
- Follow Big Mamma recipes and kitchen standards
- Work closely with the Chef de Partie, supporting daily prep and service
- Help train and support Commis and Prep Chefs
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and full compliance with health & safety standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy services with a positive, proactive attitude
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef, ideally in the cold section
- Good knowledge of Italian cuisine
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
- High energy, reliability, and attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
