About the Role
As a Machine Learning Senior Staff Engineer, you will contribute to major architectural decisions and developments for our algorithms, particularly deep neural network algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features, measure performance, and improve pipelines.
- Research, design, implement, and deploy full-stack scalable data analytics and machine learning solutions to address business issues.
- Collaborate closely with Tech and Ops teams.
- Address unique modeling challenges, including extreme positive sample sparsity and labeling delay.
- Analyze data from various sources and provide actionable insights to business and engineering stakeholders.
Skills
- Strong coding ability: Python, Scala, Java
- Proficiency in building high-performance algorithms in production
- Proficiency in solving problems
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical significance tests)
- Experience in data mining and predictive modeling: deep neural networks, logistic regression, clustering, and time series analysis models
- Knowledge of Bitbucket/Git version tools
- Experience working with SQL and data warehousing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to mentor other team members
- Fluency in English
