About the Role
Explore how AI assists game creation, build a platform for indie developers and players, manage the community, grow the player base, and serve as a liaison to the team.
Responsibilities
- Manage Discord and community engagement, including moderation and event organization (game jams, playtests, contests).
- Create consistent content such as clips, devlogs, dev spotlights, and updates.
- Lead marketing efforts for game launches, including planning, buzz generation, and player outreach.
- Collect and synthesize developer and player feedback for team action.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze game mechanics and success factors.
- Experience building and growing communities, preferably on Discord, from inception.
- Familiarity with indie game development communities and game jams, understanding developer perspectives.
- Experience marketing or launching games, or understanding player acquisition strategies.
- Capability to independently produce engaging video and written content.
- Proficiency in integrating AI into personal workflows.
- Experience shipping or building a game (bonus).
- Experience managing a personal channel or audience (bonus).
