About the Role

This role involves developing top-tier customer experiences and supporting ecommerce platforms. As an SE3 Software Engineer, you will contribute to the build, development, and maintenance of Agent Desktop applications using .NET (C#/WPF). This hands-on individual contributor role requires owning features from build through production, writing high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code, and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, user-facing solutions. You will operate with growing independence, take ownership of components, and contribute to team-level engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop desktop applications and features using C#, .NET, and WPF.
  • Build intuitive, efficient user-facing workflows for support agents.
  • Connect desktop applications to backend systems through REST/SOAP APIs (JSON/XML).
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Identify, fix, and resolve issues across UI, service integration, and performance layers.
  • Participate in code reviews, build discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA, and global engineering teams.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Continuously improve system reliability, maintainability, and performance.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–8 years of software development experience.
  • Solid background in C#, .NET, and WPF for desktop application development.
  • Experience working with and incorporating REST/SOAP APIs (JSON/XML).
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL/document-based datastores (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB).
  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular) and web application development (Preferred).
  • Experience with test automation and CI/CD integration (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) (Preferred).
  • Experience working on customer support tools or applications and passionate about improving workflows (Preferred).
  • Exposure to performance optimization and observability practices (Preferred).
  • Experience working with or migrating to document-based/NoSQL data models (Preferred).
  • Certified Application Developer or equivalent certification (Preferred).

  • Deliver well-scoped features independently with clean, maintainable code.
  • Apply strong fundamentals in object-oriented building, debugging, and testing.
  • Expertise in C#, .NET, and desktop application development.
  • Build solutions with attention to performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Own components or features end-to-end with minimal supervision.
  • Provide reliable estimates and deliver results in an Agile environment.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and technical gaps.
  • Break down moderately complex problems into manageable solutions.
  • Solve problems effectively across UI, services, and data layers.
  • Use structured debugging and data-driven approaches to resolve issues.
  • Communicate clearly with engineering, product, and QA partners.
  • Actively participate in team discussions, code reviews, and build sessions.
  • Work effectively with multi-functional and distributed teams.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Follow guidelines in version control, CI/CD, and code quality.
  • Contribute to improving team processes and development standards.
