About the Role
Join the Retail Team as a Design Consultant, a full-time, permanent role at the EQ3 King Street store in Toronto, ON. This position involves assisting customers with product selection, driving consultations, providing individualized design solutions including floor plans to close sales, maintaining sales metrics, tracking orders, and establishing customer rapport for appointments and consultations.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and purchase by identifying needs and matching them with product benefits
- Drive and suggest in-store and in-home consultations
- Provide individualized design solutions, including creating floor plans, to close sales
- Maintain company standards for personal and store sales/performance metrics
- Track orders through completion
- Establish rapport and secure customer appointments and in-home consultations
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in commission-based retail sales environment
- Proficient in operations and systems, including POS system and Microsoft Office
- Knowledgeable of every product and home accessory offered within the store
- Must be available to work full-time, including evenings and weekends
