About the Role
Oversee all studio operations, ensuring an exceptional member and guest experience. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for fitness, strong organizational skills, and the ability to foster a vibrant community culture. Lead up to 10 STRONG Pilates classes per week.
Responsibilities
- Represent the studio, embodying brand values.
- Greet clients by name, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain an enthusiastic and supportive attitude toward members.
- Ensure accuracy of member profiles.
- Cultivate and enhance the STRONG community culture.
- Support promotion and sales of memberships, merchandise, and services.
- Manage and post brand-aligned social media content.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and inviting studio environment.
- Oversee studio maintenance between classes.
- Lead by example, instilling pride and responsibility in the instructor team.
- Oversee daily studio operations.
- Manage client interactions and follow up on inquiries.
- Administer the studio's social media presence (Instagram, Facebook).
- Develop and implement strategies for membership sales and conversions.
- Engage in marketing initiatives, training programs, and staff development.
- Utilize Hapana software for class scheduling, member check-ins, sales processing, payment reporting, and new client onboarding.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of fitness professionals.
- Execute basic marketing tasks, including monthly newsletters.
- Address member inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Lead STRONG Pilates classes per schedule.
- Provide personal attention during class with clear, precise cueing.
- Ensure clients maintain proper form and offer modifications.
- Understand client injuries to provide appropriate adjustments.
- Create an energetic and motivating class environment.
- Manage class elements (lighting, music, pacing) while maintaining seamless instruction.
- Introduce new clients to Rowformer and Bikeformer before class.
Requirements
- 3+ years management experience in the fitness industry (preferred).
- 6+ months of group fitness teaching experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in studio management software (e.g., Mindbody) (advantageous).
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for health and fitness.
- Reliable means of mobility for travel to studio location.
- Certified Personal Trainer or Pilates certification from a recognized organization (preferred).
- CPR and AED certification (in-person training required).
- STRONG Academy certification (provided by STRONG) (preferred).
