About the Role

Our QA Lawn Specialist Supervisors provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professional behavior and respecting customer property. They address customer concerns regarding services and suggest appropriate treatments or solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect previous work performed by Land Maintenance crews to ensure production standards are met.
  • Report results of work not meeting specifications or customer expectations to the Service Manager for resolution.
  • Collect route sheets from Crew Leaders and transfer notes to the Specialist sheet for documentation and follow-up.
  • Inspect all route sheets completed by Crew Leader, adjusting incomplete work amounts and employee numbers before submission.
  • Perform all monthly vehicle and trailer inspections.
  • Complete equipment inventory as needed or assigned by Service Manager.
  • Assist with basic training of all new hires.
  • QC unscheduled properties per Service Manager request for troubleshooting.
  • Deliver equipment during the day to job sites or vendors as needed.
  • Assist Service Manager on special assignments.
  • Meet route deadlines and inform Service Manager of all incomplete inspections or assignments daily.
  • Check vehicle when a new one is assigned using the Service Manager's checklist.
  • Know and follow all company and department policies and protocols, including the PTO policy.
  • Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training.
  • Work on Saturday when assigned by Service Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the application date if assigned as a driver.
  • Minimum of 2 years of lawn industry knowledge and work field experience.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and maintain good composure.
  • Desired experience in working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines.
  • Dependable and self-motivated with a desire to work year-round.
  • English speaking is a requirement; bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to use an electronic tablet/phone, basic computer skills, and knowledge of email and text.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to walk for long periods of time in extreme outdoor temperatures.
  • Repetitive lifting, twisting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 lbs. may be required.
  • Ability to carry a 40 lb. backpack throughout the day may be required.
  • Maintain an active Driver’s License in good standing and be insurable.
  • Minimum of five consecutive (current and most recent) years of verifiable good driving history.
  • No DWI/DUI within the past four years.

  • Supervisor works until the last crew is out
