About the Role

The Inside Sales Representative is crucial to our sales force, consulting with new and existing customers to build business by providing outstanding service for their plastics needs. This role involves representing and selling Laird Plastics' extensive selection of trusted performance plastics brands with a solution-oriented strategy and unmatched customer commitment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention.
• Generate quotes, process orders, and follow-up with customers.
• Provide product and service information to customers.
• Place outbound calls to identify opportunities and decision makers.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse teams for accurate and efficient order processing.
• Collaborate with outside sales to increase market share.
• Assist with inventory management based on customer needs.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned.

Experience Level

• Substantial equivalent business experience (preferred).
• Plastics/industrial distribution experience (preferred).
• 1 year or more of commercial experience (preferred).

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BA or BS Degree (Business, Sales, Marketing, etc.) (preferred).
