About the Role

The Data Scientist transforms Commercial Product Supply (CPS) data into actionable insights, enabling predictive and data-driven decision-making. This role partners with stakeholders to understand challenges, identify data sources, and deliver scalable analytics solutions. Responsibilities include data preparation, analysis, model development and deployment, and translating findings into business recommendations. The role contributes to building reusable analytics assets and best practices, supporting global CPS initiatives by driving efficiency, improving decision quality, and enabling standardized solutions. Key outcomes include delivering balanced analytics solutions, generating actionable insights, and adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to define business problems and translate them into structured analytics use cases with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Integrate and analyze data across multiple domains, including finance, engineering, operations, supply chain, IT, and external data sources.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, validate, and deploy predictive and machine learning models.
  • Design and implement algorithms to address business and operational challenges.
  • Manage and curate analytics datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve data anomalies and inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to the development of data science methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Document processes, models, and standards to support scalability and reuse across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, preferably within consumer products, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
  • Strong expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.
  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end analytics solutions from ideation to production.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into business insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics.
  • Creative problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship.
