About the Role
In this position you will be responsible for overseeing all BIM work on selected projects, while assisting Senior BIM Designers, Engineers, and other project team members with the development of 3D models and 2D contract documents, utilizing both REVIT and AutoCAD. Work will focus primarily on the development of project deliverables for Water, Wastewater, Green Infrastructure, and Resiliency Projects. This is a Mid- Level role where the team member will be involved in the development and supervision of project staff and processes related to the implementation of BIM for project controls. You will be expected to coordinate processes for complete model life cycle development and functionality (3D model development and integration). As a BIM Designer with Arcadis you will coordinate the review and validation of construction models including clash detection as well as the development of project Navisworks federated model. Teamwork is an integral part of how we operate at Arcadis and you will be asked to assist project teams by providing and formatting information from virtual models throughout the lifecycle of a project, including utilization of models and visualizations for presentations and reporting construction progress. We ask that serious candidates who apply have a solid knowledge of construction practices in construction sequencing as well as experience developing construction documents including, but not limited to complete, clear, and coordinated plans, sections and details along with editing and coordination of specifications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee BIM work on selected projects.
- Assist project team members with 3D model and 2D contract document development using REVIT and AutoCAD.

- Utilize models and visualizations for presentations and reporting construction progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 5 years of experience with extensive understanding of model development procedures and VDC functionality for design and construction.
- Solid knowledge of construction practices in construction sequencing.
- Experience developing complete, clear, and coordinated construction documents, plans, sections, details, and specifications.
Skills
- Understanding of 3D models for visualization.
- Understanding of 4D models linked to project schedule for simulation.
- Experience with BIM execution plan development.
- Experience with document sharing platforms (BIM 360, Sharepoint).
- Ability to perform work independently with senior review.
- Proficiency with Navisworks.
- Proficiency with Point Cloud.
- Proficiency with Holobuilder.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam applications.
- Experience in Photoshop.
- Experience in Illustrator.
- Experience in Sketchup.
- Knowledge of Bentley products.
- Knowledge of ArchiCAD products.
