Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, test, and debug computer software applications and systems.
- Develop software tools, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
- Determine hardware compatibility.
- Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- Interact with users to define system requirements and modifications.
- Support and participate in technical activities.
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
- Provide regular reporting of progress and status.
- Complete assigned tasks on time and meet technical requirements.
- Review customer specifications and requirements to develop cost-effective designs.
- Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services.
- Support program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements.
- Develop prototypes to mitigate key development risks.
- Communicate clearly (written and oral) with company personnel and customers.
- Participate in the preparation of less complex proposals.
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the organization's mission, values, and culture.
- Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance within a reasonable time after employment.
