About the Role

Seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to coach pickleball for Summer Camp and After School Programs. Coaches will lead engaging, beginner-friendly pickleball/tennis sessions for elementary students (Grades K–5) at various Bay Area school sites. Programs focus on creating a fun, active, and supportive environment. After School Program classes are typically one hour, with optional 30 minutes of pre-care. All equipment is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Pickleball classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans
  • Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment
  • Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting
  • Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff
  • Capture a few class photos for documentation

Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years old
  • Teaching or playing experience in Pickleball is preferred but not mandatory
  • USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
  • Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
  • Good communication and class management skills
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have valid work permit to work in USA
  • Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
  • Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
  • Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
  • Applicants must already be eligible to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not provided)
