About the Role
Seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to coach pickleball for Summer Camp and After School Programs. Coaches will lead engaging, beginner-friendly pickleball/tennis sessions for elementary students (Grades K–5) at various Bay Area school sites. Programs focus on creating a fun, active, and supportive environment. After School Program classes are typically one hour, with optional 30 minutes of pre-care. All equipment is provided.
Responsibilities
- Teach Pickleball classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans
- Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment
- Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting
- Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff
- Capture a few class photos for documentation
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Teaching or playing experience in Pickleball is preferred but not mandatory
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Good communication and class management skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
- Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
- Applicants must already be eligible to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not provided)
