About the Role

Seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to coach pickleball for Summer Camp and After School Programs. Coaches will lead engaging, beginner-friendly pickleball/tennis sessions for elementary students (Grades K–5) at various Bay Area school sites. Programs focus on creating a fun, active, and supportive environment. After School Program classes are typically one hour, with optional 30 minutes of pre-care. All equipment is provided.

Responsibilities

Teach Pickleball classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans
Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment
Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting
Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff
Capture a few class photos for documentation

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old
Teaching or playing experience in Pickleball is preferred but not mandatory
USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
Good communication and class management skills
Must have reliable transportation
Must have valid work permit to work in USA
Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
Applicants must already be eligible to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not provided)
