About the Role

The Senior Manager, Industry Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for all dealer- and industry-facing marketing efforts at Trader Interactive. This role serves as the strategic and executional engine powering the Sales team's ability to acquire new dealer customers, grow revenue through upsell, and retain existing customers by demonstrating the tangible value TI delivers to their business. The ideal candidate is a disciplined, data-driven marketing leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, thrives in a cross-functional environment, and is passionate about helping dealers understand their performance and how to improve it. Responsibilities

  • Develop outbound messaging, playbooks, and campaign assets with Sales Enablement.
  • Collaborate with the AI team to integrate prospect intelligence into email and outbound calling campaigns.
  • Leverage Thought Leadership research and data assets for prospect outreach with the Insights team.
  • Identify optimal product and packaging offerings with the Product team for prospect segments.
  • Lead prospect segmentation strategy with AI and Sales teams, defining targeting methods.
  • Design and manage integrated multi-touch acquisition campaigns across various channels.
  • Ensure seamless integration between HubSpot and Salesforce for coordinated activities and clear attribution.
  • Define compelling campaign hooks, offers, and messages for each segment.
  • Build reporting and optimization frameworks to track performance, maximize conversion, and foster a test-and-learn culture.
  • Design product and packaging-specific upsell campaigns with Product, AI, and Sales Enablement teams.
  • Develop differentiated customer messaging using usage data, propensity models, and product fit analysis.
  • Produce high-quality sales enablement content including email sequences, one-pagers, battle cards, presentation decks, and objection-handling guides.
  • Nurture upsell opportunities using coordinated multi-touch email marketing, Sales-led outreach, and digital channels.
  • Collaborate with Insights and BI teams to identify dealer performance gaps and growth opportunities for upsell.
  • Track and report upsell campaign performance, pipeline influence, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
  • Build and manage a Demonstrating Value program with Insights, BI, AI, and Sales teams, delivering dealer-specific performance narratives.
  • Design and deploy a systematic email 'air cover' program supporting Sales touchpoints with data-driven, personalized communication.
  • Develop a Thought Leadership program with the Insights team, producing best practices, trend reports, and educational materials.
  • Distinguish between Thought Leadership and Demonstrating Value content, ensuring mutual reinforcement.
  • Create content to help dealers optimize digital merchandising, improve inventory turn, and understand TI investment ROI.
  • Operationalize data delivery into scalable, personalized communications with BI and AI teams.
  • Measure retention program effectiveness using churn risk, engagement, and customer health scores, refining based on results.
  • Manage the email marketing team, ensuring quality, cadence, and strategic alignment for industry and consumer programs.
  • Oversee the events team, managing presence and strategy for trade shows, conferences, webinars, and hosted events.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, accountable for ROI targets including paid digital, content syndication, and sponsored placements.
  • Own industry PR efforts, maintaining trade publication relationships, securing coverage, and contributing bylined content.
  • Coordinate webinar and virtual event programs within the integrated marketing calendar.
  • Ensure all channel activity is tracked, attributed, and reported, maintaining a unified view of marketing contribution.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling marketing calendar aligned with Sales cycles, product launches, industry events, and campaign waves.
  • Develop deep command of TI's product portfolio, understanding features, benefits, target customers, and competitive differentiation.
  • Partner with Product Management to craft clear, compelling product narratives, value propositions, and messaging frameworks.
  • Support product launch planning and go-to-market execution, providing Sales with necessary tools and messaging.
  • Provide market and customer insights to the Product team, representing the dealer customer voice in product planning.
  • Serve as connective tissue across Sales, Sales Enablement, AI, Insights, BI, and Product teams, integrating marketing strategy with Sales execution.
  • Build disciplined program management practices with clear objectives, timelines, owners, and performance metrics.
  • Champion HubSpot and Salesforce integration as the operational backbone for acquisition and retention, ensuring best practices with RevOps and Sales Ops.
  • Create a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the marketing team and partner functions.
  • Navigate organizational complexity with clear communication, structured prioritization, and a bias toward action.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior role for demand generation, customer marketing, or industry/vertical marketing.
  • Proven track record building and running integrated, multi-channel marketing programs driving measurable pipeline and revenue.
  • Deep expertise in email marketing strategy, including segmentation, personalization, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot and Salesforce, including cross-platform integration, lead lifecycle management, and campaign attribution.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data, reporting dashboards, and using insights for rapid optimization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, translating complex data and product information into compelling narratives.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills, building trust, aligning stakeholders, and driving outcomes without direct authority.
  • Resilient, energetic, change-oriented leadership style, able to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and maintain momentum.
