About the Role
The Medical Biller with SSMC provides direct billing services to assigned clients, including provider offices, hospitals, and other facilities. This role acts as a primary resource for billing support, claim submission, statement management, and reporting. Billers must meet work quality and productivity standards to ensure outstanding client service.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience required
- Experience in a medical office setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical billing and/or collections preferred
- Experience with Medent preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel required
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems
- Demonstrated ability to recommend and/or implement effective solutions
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships both internally and externally
