About the Role

As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical excellence and team culture within your clinic. Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care.
Create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
Support clinical governance, standards, and continuous improvement within the practice.
Coach and support less experienced vets and nurses in their development.
Work collaboratively with the wider Hello Vet network and leadership team.
Balance clinical responsibilities with leadership and operational oversight.
Champion contextualised, relationship-led care.
Drive team engagement, wellbeing, and retention.

Requirements

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
At least 5-10 years’ experience in general practice.
Experience mentoring or leading others, or readiness for a leadership role.
Ability to communicate with empathy and lead with integrity.
Passion for developing people and building strong teams.
Desire to be part of a culture challenging norms and improving veterinary care.
Experience and/or a proactive mindset for opening a brand new clinic.
