About the Role

This role coordinates the intake of new clients and residents during the admissions process, familiarizing them with facility processes and policies, and providing orientation within required timeframes. The role also coordinates the referral process, assists external agencies with space availability, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the admission process, including initial interviews and assessments.
- Ensure client/resident understanding and completion of intake documents.
- Provide new resident orientation.
- Coordinate client/resident referral processes by scheduling upcoming placement reservations.
- Provide daily notifications of residential re-entry facility space availability to contracting agencies.
- Maintain strong working relationships with external agencies, including Department of State Health Services, contract monitors, and the courts.
- Effectively communicate program requirements and space availability to external agencies.
- Coordinate with probation and substance abuse agencies for offender placements.
- Maintain the facility waiting list.
- Assist administration in interpreting or developing organizational and administrative policies, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Related work experience in counseling, corrections, criminal justice, or residential re-entry services may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications or similar software applications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
