About the Role

GreenShield Health Digital Pharmacy is a fast-growing, tech-driven online pharmacy focused on patient-care innovation. Utilizing provincial e-health databases and communication tools like PrescribeIT, the pharmacy redefines clinical practice by bringing hospital-level collaboration and care to the community. This involves personalizing doses, combating medication overuse, and improving chronic disease management through clinical suggestions, safer alternatives, and deprescribing.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email, and messaging.
Prepare patient orders for courier shipments.
Operate PacMed robot for strip packaging for community and group home patients.
Communicate with patients regarding orders, prescriptions, and professional service needs.
Perform prescription entry and billing.
Prepare and package prescriptions.
Manage inventory and protect assets.
Maintain general organization and cleanliness of the dispensary.
Comply with Ontario College of Pharmacists ethics and standards of practice under supervision.
Undertake additional tasks or projects to support pharmacy operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant (asset).
Experience with Kroll pharmacy software and/or PacMed (asset).
