About the Role

As a Financial Planner, internally known as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), you contribute to the branch sales team's success by managing an assigned client portfolio to meet or exceed deposit and investment sales goals. Your primary role is to establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with existing and referred clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth client reviews for retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning.
  • Deliver trusted financial advice on investments and retirement planning by uncovering client needs.
  • Craft personalized financial strategies and solutions with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Foster strong client engagement, education, insights, and expert advice.
  • Build and grow long-standing client relationships by providing an excellent experience.
  • Leverage advanced technology to enhance client interactions and streamline financial planning.
  • Achieve targets, balancing client satisfaction and business growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales (preferred).
  • Successfully completed CIFP/CFP designation or bank-recognized equivalent.
  • Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative in good standing with licensing requirements (Investment Funds in Canada or bank-recognized equivalent).
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
  • Knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment.
