About the Role

Join the EMEA Finance team as a detail-driven, proactive accounting professional. This role focuses on turning numbers into insights, driving financial accuracy, and making a significant impact on financial reporting and controls within a fast-paced global business.

Responsibilities

  • Own key parts of month-end and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement reviews.
  • Ensure accurate accounting treatment in line with GAAP across multiple regional entities.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to support robust financial reporting.
  • Support Accounts Payable activities, including invoice reviews, expense checks, and payment runs.
  • Prepare VAT returns and fulfill statutory reporting requirements.
  • Play a key role in audit cycles by preparing schedules and supporting audit requests.
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across finance operations.
  • Support projects and initiatives, including internal controls and technical accounting research.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable processes.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Curious, with a mindset to challenge and improve processes.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience in financial reporting, audits, and statutory accounts.
  • Additional European languages are a plus, but not essential.
