About the Role

Okta secures AI by building trusted, neutral infrastructure, solving complex challenges with urgency and excellence. This role involves building and executing a content strategy to elevate Okta and Auth0 customer communities as an authoritative destination for identity and security experts. The strategist will transform real-world community expertise and discussions into high-quality content, driving engagement, supporting generative search discoverability, and surfacing go-to-market intelligence across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own content strategy and programming, identifying, cultivating, and publishing expert-driven content to elevate community voices and build trust across Okta and Auth0 communities.
  • Design and run content programs (e.g., technical deep-dive series, AMAs, member features) to drive engagement and establish the community as an authoritative destination.
  • Identify and cultivate Community Champions, activating their expertise across content programs, go-to-market initiatives, and community-driven knowledge assets.
  • Build repeatable processes for surfacing Champion voices and routing them into appropriate content formats and business moments.
  • Develop and maintain the community content calendar for Okta and Auth0, aligning programs and publications with product moments, go-to-market priorities, and audience engagement.
  • Partner with the Customer Content team to ensure community content meets generative search eligibility standards.
  • Ensure high-value discussions, Q&As, and blogs are structured, tagged, and formatted for discoverability and citation by generative AI models.
  • Govern the content lifecycle by auditing communities, identifying outdated or inaccurate content, and refreshing top-performing assets.
  • Maintain content freshness standards to ensure critical community knowledge remains accurate and relevant.
  • Partner with engineers to design and deploy agentic AI workflows for monitoring communities for strategic signals (e.g., trending questions, unmet product needs, sentiment shifts, buyer intent).
  • Build processes to automatically route community intelligence to Product, Marketing, and Customer Success stakeholders.
  • Use community analytics and listening tools to identify high-value discussions, solved problems, and expert answers.
  • Work with Community Engineer teams to transform insights into structured, evergreen knowledge assets (FAQs, knowledge base articles, community blogs) optimized for generative search.
  • Partner with the Social Care & Advocacy Specialist to disseminate content as part of the programming strategy.
  • Build and maintain a measurement model connecting community content performance to support deflection, generative search citation frequency, and pipeline influence.
  • Demonstrate the business value of well-governed community knowledge.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in content strategy, community content, or knowledge management.
  • Experience building and managing community engagement programs that focus on developing technical and business thought leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and work within technical content environments and restructure them into clear, accessible, search-optimized narratives that resonate with a general audience.
  • Experience structuring and optimizing content for generative AI engines, including familiarity with how LLMs surface and cite structured content, and experience applying those standards to community environments.
  • Experience working with content performance data and analytics tools to build dashboards, identify trends, and communicate findings with clear business context.
  • Experience applying content taxonomy frameworks, metadata standards, or information architecture systems at scale.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align on shared goals and route intelligence into action.

Skills

  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar to track content performance and user behavior.
  • Background in a B2B SaaS or post-sales environment with exposure to go-to-market motions and customer success programs.
